My mom used to say that she “grew up on red beans and rice, and [my] dad on red rice and beans.” In many ways this sentence celebrated both the cultural differences and similarities of my background. It is a lesson I try to incorporate both in my day to day life and my design perspective. I am continually seeking out patterns, while giving each endeavor its own recognition and identity.

I am an out-of-the-box-thinking creative with a love of California food and drink culture. I am passionate about finding the sweet spot that intertwines eye catching design and a product’s identity to create an impactful experience.

When not working on design projects, I am spending time with my family in the garden, in search of a beach, collaborating with friends or working on a new recipe in my kitchen.
